Building an Employee Rotation Dashboard for a Leading Financial Institution
A leading Indian financial institution, operating through a vast branch network nationwide and managing statutory employee rotation requirements set by the Reserve Bank of India.
The client faced major difficulties in planning employee movements across the organizational hierarchy as per the RBI guidelines.
The process of mapping employee data with RBI guidelines data was tedious and time-consuming, often leading to errors and inconsistencies. This resulted in unintended personnel transfers or delays in employee rotations.
All analyses were ad-hoc. The client lacked a centralized dashboard to track employee tenures, identify those due for rotation, and plan for future employee rotations.

We built a model to gather, clean and automate employee information coming in from the internal employee database and the RBI Guidelines data.
We developed an interactive Power BI dashboard with the following key metrics:
Employees eligible for rotation, employees rotated, and due as-on-date.
Employees who would be due for rotation in the near future.
Employee analysis that visualized the distribution of employees across various roles, locations, and segments.
Previous location history and stint of each employee.

Adhering to the RBI statutory requirements became a breeze and the client could now perform on-demand planning and analysis of employee movements.
Our solution combined different employee movement data into one dashboard, reducing 50 man-hour a month to an on-demand one-click refresh.
Now, with effective KPIs like tenure, role changes, and due dates in place, the client could adequately pre-plan employee movements.
